Thinking about repowering? Adding or replacing a generator? When it comes time to replace engines and install generators our Mechanics Shop is experienced and fully equipped to deal with all of our customer's needs. Repowering a boat isn't always as simple as swapping out an engine, we are fortunate to have a full machine and fiberglass shop to build any needed parts. If there is any design work that needs to be done, we have our friends right upstairs at Chuck Paine Yacht design ready to assist. Below is just a sampling the yachts we have successfully repowered. Our mechanics shop has over 80 years of experience; let us put that experience to work for you. Wayfarer is an authorized service center for Yanmar, Westerbeke, Northern Lights and Onan.

78 Little Harbor - Removed Yanmar 4LH and reinstalled a new Yanmar 4LH
63 Oyster - Removed Northern Lights Genset and reinstalled a new Northern Lights Genset
94 Fife - Removed Cummins 6BT and installed a new Cummins 6BT
80 Swan - Removed 20kw Northern Lights generator and reinstalled a new 20kw Northern Lights generator
55 McGruer - Removed Yanmar 4JH2 and installed a Yanmar 4JH4-THE
Sabre 38 - Removed Westerbekes and installed new Westerbeke 44 B's
33 Vindo - Removed Volvo replaced with Westerbeke 30 B
J-42 - Removed Volvo Diesel and installed Yanmar 3JH3E
47 Bristol - Removed Westerbeke diesel and installed Westerbeke 82B
