Responsibilities: The safe transportation of passengers and Wayfarer employees to and from boats in and around Camden harbor. Perform a morning and evening mooring check. Perform daily maintenance checks of the launch at the beginning of each shift (engine oil, fuel, etc.) and keep the launch clean and presentable. Time permitting, assist in updating the mooring board and render help on the docks as appropriate. When possible, help customers locate moorings, harbor floats, etc. Maintain “situational awareness” and be a good harbor steward. Uphold and demonstrate the principles of the Wayfarer Marine core values.
Required: USCG Masters license and current TWIC card.
Shift: Weekends and evenings and on standby for assistance during events and functions when appropriate. Seasonal work June through the end of September. Must be able to work the entire month of September weekdays as well. Minimum of 25 hours per week.

Marine Systems Mechanic - Wayfarer is looking for a full-time marine mechanic. Successful applicant will be flexible and be able to perform a broad range of functions such as troubleshooting, decommissioning and commissioning. Preferred candidates will be capable of installing new equipment such as engines, generators, heating systems, battery monitoring systems, etc. ABYC certification, electrical or refrigeration skills would be a plus. Wayfarer performs both routine service work and refits so there is a broad spectrum of work performed.
Marine Painter - Wayfarer is looking for a full-time marine painter to join our crew. Successful applicant will be self-motivated and experienced in all facets of marine paint applications, including spray and brush finish, and have the ability to work independently. Gel coat experience preferred. A minimum of five years experience in the trade preferred. Health benefits are available after three months of service, vacation after six months and 401K after one year.
